MEET THE BAND
Pinky and The Slapcats are a 4-piece Pop/Rock Function and Events Band located in the South West of England.
With Kaan on vocals and guitar, Soph on drums, Jason on bass, and Will on keys, each member brings their unique style and passion to the band.
Whether it's a private party, wedding, festival or local pub gig, we always deliver an unforgettable night of entertainment, playing everything from modern chart-toppers to beloved classics.

Kaan joined his first band at 14 years old and immediately started gigging as a frontman at local venues and festivals.
In 2018, Kaan went pro after landing his first contract in Dubai, performing in a band and subsequently went on to have a worldwide career playing in duos, trios and bands, amassing over 1000 shows in this time.
Following the coronavirus pandemic, Kaan returned to the UK and became a private guitar/bass tutor alongside playing in local bands and hosting a regular jam night at a local music venue, before going on to form Pinky and the Slapcats.

In 2016, Soph studied at The Academy of Music and Sound and played in multiple student bands throughout her time there.
In 2018, Soph joined her first gigging band and went pro shortly after.
From 2018 to present day, Soph has been working as a full time drum tutor at her studio, Solstice Sound.
Soph has also been regularly gigging at festivals, music venues, private events and weddings in a multitude of different acts.
Most notably a function duo, tribute band and depping for other reputable bands, as well as hosting a jam night at a local music venue, before going on to form Pinky and the Slapcats.

Jason started learning guitar at the age of 11 after discovering Nirvana and Oasis, before he began playing in bands and experimenting with bass guitar at age 13.
Jason studied music technology at college, whilst gigging in local venues in bands across a mix of genres playing guitar, saxophone, and on backing vocals.
Jason went on to study at the British Institute of Modern Music, where he earned a name for himself as a bass player, and found a vocal coach that transformed his singing.
Since then, Jason frequented local jam nights before going on to join Pinky and The Slapcats.

With a musical foundation spanning over two decades, Will’s journey began at the age of 8 when he first started playing the piano. This love of music eventually led him to pursue a degree in Audio and Music Production, where he developed a passion for synthesis and sound engineering.
Since entering the professional live circuit in 2017, Will has merged his technical academic background with a rigorous performance schedule. He has mastered a diverse range of styles, utilizing piano, organ, and synthesisers to recreate near record perfect sounds in a live setting.
Will also expanded his versatility through dedicated vocal coaching. This blend of skills allows him to contribute not only as a versatile performer but also in crafting a professional sound for the band.
